Issues & Ales

Issues & Ales

Next discussion - October 24, 2018

Did you know there was an event where you can hear intelligent, open conversation within the friendly confines of a neighborhood pub?

There is, and you should join us on October 24.

WBOI's Isues & Ales is an award-winning panel discussion event focused on issues important to the community. We take your questions (in-person, through email or via social media), you grab a beer, and our panelists work on the answers. It's free and completely open to the public.

Oct. 24 is the last planned discussion in 2018. Mark your calendars now.

Issues & Ales has been recognized by the Associated Press, and won the Indiana Broadcasters Association's Cardinal Award for Community Service in 2017.

Past panel discussions included:

  • Civic involvement in Indiana
  • Downtown development
  • Homelessness
  • Immigration issues in northeast Indiana
Fort Wayne City Councilman Dr. John Crawford answers questions at a recent panel.
