If you enjoy music, art, fine dining and socializing, there's a new enerprise ready to open in Auburn that combines all of those entertainments in one intriguing operation.

It's simply called COË, which stands for the cooperative nature of the operation, as well as the collaborations, and the community connections it encourages.

Auburn's historic Buchtel House is the new home of COË, opening Friday, August 31st.

To its co-founders, TK Kelly and Angie Slentz, the success of an evening spent this way is all about the pampering, and the finesse that goes on over the course of the three hour event. Its headquarters in Auburn's historic Buchtel house ensures that everyone feels at home, and at ease in the arts-focused surroundings.

For the inside story on this creative approach to an evening out, WBOI's Julia Meek spoke with its co-founder, TK Kelly on his passion for this combined presentation style, and the pleasures he expects such a unique experience will afford his guests.

You can learn more about COË, and make reservations at its Facebook page.

A Fort Wayne native, Julia is a radio host, graphic artist, and community volunteer, who has contributed to NIPR both on- and off-air for forty years. Besides being WBOI's arts & culture reporter, she currently co-produces and hosts Folktales and Meet the Music.
