City Names New Neighborhood Code Compliance Director

Matthew 25 Online

The City of Fort Wayne announced the hiring of Susan B. Eisenhauer as its new Neighborhood Code Compliance Director Wednesday morning.

While not born and raised in Fort Wayne, Eisenhauer is in the middle of her second stint in the city. Previously, she worked for the state Supreme Court from the mid-nineties to 2002, calling Fort Wayne home during that time.

Eisenhauer earned her law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School and her masters of social work from the University of Cincinnati. Currently, she serves on the Board of Directors for The League for the Blind & Disabled.

Eisenhauer replaces Cindy Joyner, who is now serving as Fort Wayne’s Division Director of Community Development. In a statement, Joyner says Eisenhauer will be a "great asset to the team," adding, “She is passionate about helping build strong neighborhoods that provide an excellent quality of life for residents.”
