paulmccartney.com

Paul McCartney will play his first concert ever at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum next June.

On Monday, Coliseum officials announced the June 3 stop as part of a stateside leg of McCartney’s Freshen Up Tour, currently performing in Canada.

Tickets for the Coliseum concert will go on sale Monday, Sept. 17 at 10 a.m. local time. They will be available at Ticketmaster outlets, online at ticketmaster.com, or charge by phone at 1-800-745-3000.

The Freshen Up tour is McCartney’s first time to perform back in the states since 2016 and 2017’s “One On One” tour, which played to more than two million fans around the world, according to a release.

McCartney’s newest album “Egypt Station” was released Friday. His shows are nearly three hours of music from his last 50 years of performing, including work from his solo career, Wings, and the Beatles. His band has been together for more than the past 15 years.

His U.S. leg of the tour will open New Orleans on May 23, and other stops near Indiana include Kentucky, Wisconsin and Illinois.
