Services for Fort Wayne Police Officer David Tinsley will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 917 West Jefferson Boulevard.
Viewings will be held at the church from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday and again from 10 a.m. until the start of the service Sunday.
Tinsley, a 16-year-veteran of the Fort Wayne Police Department, died late Monday night, collapsing after assisting in the pursuit of a suspect fleeing police after crashing stolen vehicle.
Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, after a processional that will go down Broadway to Rudisill Boulevard and then to Lafayette and back through downtown Fort Wayne via Berry, Fairfield and Main streets.
Police caution motorists in the area to expect long traffic delays at the time of the service and the procession. Jefferson Boulevard from Main Street to Broadway will be closed to all vehicle traffic beginning at 9 a.m. Monday.
