Director, Brad Beauchamp feels that the ancient sets and modern costumes make this production fresh and compelling.

Beginning this Friday, as part of its 125th anniversary celebration, the University of Saint Francis is presenting Weber and Rice's timeless rock opera, "Jesus Christ Superstar."

This full-scale production will take place in USF's downtown campus, the Robert Goldstine Performing Arts Center, formerly the Scottish Rite, and features new dance and overture sequences, as well as all of the well-known tunes from the original show.

Earlier this week, WBOI's Julia Meek met with director, Brad Beauchamp and lead actress, Clare Ramel to discuss the pleasures and challenges of bringing this 45 year old classic to life.
