Noble County and Steuben County again drove the COVID-19 numbers up further in northeast Indiana Tuesday.
In Noble County, the site of multiple reported outbreaks at long-term care facilities, positive test results went from 86 on Monday to 122 on Tuesday.
A small poultry processor plant in Orland reported positive COVID-19 tests earlier in the week, and the number of cases in Steuben County is now 51. A total of 269 individuals have been tested in Steuben County, according to the Indiana Department of Health.
In spite of the significant jumps in cases in both Noble and Steuben counties, no additional deaths were reported in either county.
There are a total of 695 cases in Allen County, and 55 deaths.
According to Allen County Health Commissioner Dr. Deb McMahan, testing is becoming easier to come by as more tests are available and criteria for test eligibility has expanded.
But even as Indiana takes its first steps to reopening the economy this week, less than two percent of Hoosiers have been tested.
In Indiana, 21,033 residents have tested positive for COVID-19 and 1,213 have died.

- Huntington: 11 positive tests, two deaths

- Noble: 122 positive tests, 14 deaths
- Steuben: 51 positive tests, one death
- Wabash: 63 positive tests, two deaths
- Wells: seven positive tests, no deaths
- Whitley: 22 positive tests, one death
