Local Ukrainian man worried about family in his homeland

Oleg Kovalov immigrated to the United States from Ukraine fifteen years ago as a student-athlete, and has since made a life for himself in Fort Wayne.

He spoke with WBOI's Katy Anderson to share his insights and reactions to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, as he watches from five thousand miles away.

We first spoke with Oleg for the first season of the "I in Immigrant" podcast. You can hear that interview here.
