Four new deaths due to COVID-19 were reported Friday in northeast Indiana, and 558 new cases identified.
There were 245 new cases reported in Allen County, where the 7-day positivity rate stands at 12.6 percent.
The area’s 7-day positivity rate is up to 11.4 percent, and 11.3 percent of critical care beds remain in the region.
There are 265 area residents hospitalized with the illness, among the 2,186 hospitalized statewide.
Nearly 6,000 additional Hoosiers got their full vaccination doses, according to the numbers reported by the Indiana Department of Health on Friday.
Nearly 53 percent of the state’s eligible population is fully vaccinated.
