Jonah Crismore and Melisa McCann are excited for this opportunity to share the Embassy's ballroom and rooftop patio with city residents.

If you're looking for some mid-week musical fun in downtown Fort Wayne, the Embassy Theatre's Summer Nights series begins tonight in its historical ballroom and rooftop patio, and promises something for everyone.

Each of the 14 Wednesday night offerings showcases a diverse musical act, from salsa to rock to jazz, and everything in between, coordinated with a tasty buffet style meal for purchase, and a cash bar complete with themed drink specials. The ticket price for the evening is $5.oo.

Concert goers are encouraged to enjoy the cityscape from the rooftop patio, as well as the music in the ballroom below it.

For a sneak peek at the scope of activities participants can expect this year, WBOI's Julia Meek sat down with the Embassy's programming director, Jonah Crismore, and Melisa McCann, on of the returning musicians, to learn how it works, and just what makes this event, as well as its lofty location, significant.
