Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana are gearing up for their third annual Living Fort Wayne Concert Series, which kicks off at Headwaters Park West on Wednesday, June 1st.

Living Fort Wayne Concert Series founder, Joe Bouthought, and founding committee member, Laine Mello hope that these events increase riverfront awareness in the community.

It's the first of three free, family-friendly events that showcase the area's music scene as well as our downtown riverfront.

Concert goers are invited to arrive by foot, bike, car or watercraft. Free pontoon rides and kid's activities are on the agenda, and refreshments will be available for purchase from local beer and food truck vendors.

For a look back at the event's origins, and a look forward to this year's highlights, WBOI's Julia Meek met with its founder, Adam Bouthought and founding committee member, Laine Mello, to learn how lively "Living Fort Wayne" can be.
