Fort Wayne photographer, Jim Gabbard, is celebrating the Native American way of spirituality through nature, in an upcoming exhibit at the Garrett Museum of Art, called, "From It to Thou."

As a long time believer in the idea that everything around us is connected and that we should be good stewards of the earth, Gabbard set out to capture that sentiment through the camera lens, and subsequently teamed up with Peter Bella to produce a book of photographs, accompanied by Native American quotations, that would end up forming the nucleus of the exhibition now being readied for its opening at the end of November.

For insight on Jim's deep-rooted motivations for this finely layered undertaking, WBOI's Julia Meek invited him into the studio to learn what inspired the project, and how this multimedia display has shaped his own spiritual journey.
