For the first time in weeks, no northeast Indiana county reported more than 100 new cases of COVID-19.

While the numbers are from Sunday into Monday, and typically are lower in volume for new cases, only Allen County reported more than 20 new cases, with 90. That is the lowest number of newly-reported cases since late October.

Four area counties reported new cases in the single-digits, according to the Indiana Department of Health.

Those between the ages of 20-29 and 50-59 each make up about 16 percent of the new COVID-19 cases reported in northeast Indiana.

Only Whitley County had a 7-day positivity rate of over 15 percent on Monday, at 15.1 percent. Huntington County had the lowest 7-day positivity rate at 6.2 percent.

Only Steuben and Whitley counties remain in the red on the state’s dashboard for the two-week metric score measuring cases per 100,000 and 7-day positivity.
