Data from the Allen County Department of Health shows that 233 residents tested positive for COVID-19 Thursday, bringing the county’s overall number to just over 57,000.
No new deaths were reported, and the positivity rate remains just over 9 percent, holding steady at that level for most of the week and with the state’s overall rate.
Most of Northeast Indiana is in the “yellow” or “orange” levels for 7-day positivity rate -- the second- and third-ranked levels on the state’s COVID-19 dashboard.
The exception to this is LaGrange County, which still finds itself in the “red” and standing at a 20.5% 7-day positivity rate.
Statewide, 2,644 new cases were reported, and the 7-day rate sits at 9 percent.
