Two more Allen County residents have died from COVID-19, bringing the total to 131. There have been 2,825 positive tests reported, according to the Allen County Department of Health.
The 14-day average of new cases reported has declined in Allen County since mid-June, according to statistics.
According to data from the Regenstrief Institute, northeast Indiana’s trends for positive tests, ICU occupancy and deaths have largely been improving.
Huntington County has shown an increase in positive tests in recent days, with 12 new cases since the beginning of July.
Statewide, hospitalizations are increasing for those between the ages of 50 to 79.
