Veteran Foodie Shares Pleasures Of Ethnic Eateries

Ten years ago, Fort Wayne native Mark Meyer created an unconventional dining group that explores six of this area's ethnic eateries each fall, and he named it The World Says Eat Me.

Its primary purpose is to offer the opportunity to try distinctive, delicious food that may not usually grace one's table at a location that is often unique and out of the way.

Both its ranks and its list of "discoveries" continue to grow.

Earlier this week, WBOI's Julia Meek invited Meyer into the studio to discuss his own introduction to the local food scene, the origin of this concept,  and what inspies him to coninue on this culinary labor of love.
