02/16/2021 10:30am: Last night the 89.1 WBOI FM transmitter experienced a technical failure. Currently the transmitter is operating at 50% power, which means some areas may not be getting our signal as clearly as they normally would.
The parts needed to repair the transmitter need to be ordered from distributors located on the east coast, so it may take several days for them to get here.
While the 89.1 FM signal is weakened, our HD (89.1-1) and online streams are functioning normally.
