The Indiana State Department of Health reported 67 additional confirmed deaths over the last week, bringing the state’s total to 3,281. The state announced more than 111,000 total confirmed cases – including two days with more than 1,000 reported cases – and more than 1.3 million Hoosiers tested.

  One more Allen County resident has died of COVID-19, bringing the total to 198. Sixty-five new cases were diagnosed.

Statewide, there are 1,497 new cases reported, but the Indiana State Department of Health attributes that number to a 462-case correction in lab reporting data. Seventeen new deaths were reported.

Steuben County reported 13 new positive cases, Kosciusko County eight, and Noble County five.

Indianapolis-based Eli Lilly announced Wednesday its COVID-19 antibody drug is showing results in reducing hospitalizations from the virus. This is the company’s first data to be reported on mild to moderate cases but still needs to be reviewed by peers.

Twelve new deaths were reported statewide from COVID-19, according to the Indiana State Department of Health.

One more death was reported in DeKalb County, and another in Allen County, bringing those counties’ fatality totals to 10 and 197, respectively.

Allen County reported another 38 positive tests on Wednesday. Kosciusko County reported six new cases, and Steuben County reported four.

Big 10 To Resume Football Season In October
