While many hobbies are leisurely "sit-down" pursuits, Historic Fort Wayne's Old Fort provides the unique opportunity for living history enthusiasts to get active --and re-enact.

A faithful copy of the post built under the command of Major John Whistler in 1815-1816, this historic structure allows volunteers from across the Midwest to recreate daily life in a military trading post, and historical events that have shaped our modern city.

Curious to learn what drives this passion, WBOI's Julia Meek met with board members and volunteer re-enactors, Bob Jones and Sean O'Brien for a look behind the Fort scene, where history comes alive.
