Though carols are an ancient music form, the custom of Christmas caroling really came into its own as a popular seasonal pastime in the Victorian Era.

With Christmas and its twelve days now on our immediate horizon, WBOI's Julia Meek decided to investigate the fine art of this old fashioned tradition.

This led to a visit with Irene Ator, one of Fort Wayne's strongest communal music advocates, to uncover the tricks of the seasoned caroler's trade.
