This Sunday, Heartland Sings and Plymouth Congregational Church are commemorating the life and legacy of social activist and humanitarian, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a free community concert.

The musical tribute is called "We Are the Dream," and lets King's own words, delivered by Fort Wayne community leaders, tell the story.

WBOI's Julia Meek met with Heartland director, Maestro Robert Nance, and narrator, Reverend Bill McGill to discuss the importance, and relevancy of keeping King's dream alive.
