Thanks to a dream turned into reality by Lillian Embick, Audiences Unlimited has been spreading joy and enriching the lives of people with limited access to the arts for the past forty-five years.

And this Sunday, it is celebrating that accomplishment, and planning for the future, with a benefit concert showcasing the Agen Family Trio.

When Kristine Agen, a twenty-seven year old musical therapist, was hired by Lillian, she became their youngest performer, a position she held until her own son, Korrigan, officiall joined the ranks at age sixteen.

Meanwhile, daughter Addison followed in her brother's earliest footsteps, and began taking part in the music activities at the tender age of two, playing the shaker, from mom's baby carrier backpack.

To Kristine, Addison and Korrigan Agen, sharing music is the most important thing in life, and their connection with Audiences Unlimited is a perfect platform to make the magic happen.

To learn why Kristine and her children have formed such strong bonds with the organization, WBOI's Julia Meek sat down with its executive director, Anna Ross, along with Kristine and her daughter, Addison, to discuss the power of sharing music in this way, and how that journey has shaped their lives.
