Sarah McQuaid is an accomplished singer, songwriter and guitarist living in rural England, with five solo albums under her belt, and a drive to connect with her fans on both sides of the Atlantic.

Folk Radio UK pronounced Sarah's 5th album, “a consummate artistic triumph that marks a new phase in McQuaid’s career.”

To that end, she has just begun a three month tour, which will take her from coast to coast here in the United States until the end of October, when she will do the same in the UK. And this Sunday afternoon, she'll be performing here in Fort Wayne at the downtown Public Library.

Earlier this week, WBOI's Julia Meek spoke with McQuaid by phone to learn how her eclectic musical background informs her playing style and fuels her passion, and what she's planning on adding to the Fort Wayne music scene this weekend.
