Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry appeared in an Allen Superior Court room Thursday afternoon to be sentenced in his drunk driving case.
The sentencing hearing was moved to Thursday from next Monday morning. He pleaded guilty on Oct. 10 to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, a class A misdemeanor.
Magistrate Jason Custer accepted Henry’s plea agreement with prosecutors, and sentenced the mayor to a suspended jail term of 365 days, ordered him to pay a $25 fine in addition to the nearly $800 in court costs and fees.
Henry is also paying more than $3,160 in restitution to the City of Fort Wayne and the woman whose vehicle he hit on Oct. 8 after a public event.

His blood alcohol concentration was nearly twice the legal limit of 0.08.
His driver’s license remains suspended for another 65 days as part of the 90-day suspension agreed to with prosecutors.
Henry answered the magistrate’s questions, and exited the courtroom after just a few moments alongside his attorney.
A second charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated was dismissed.
