Indiana House Speaker Todd Huston Tests Positive For COVID-19

Indiana House Speaker Todd Huston (R-Fishers) has COVID-19.

Huston’s office confirmed Thursday he recently tested positive and is experiencing mild symptoms. He is currently quarantining at home.

Huston said he hasn’t been in recent contact with other legislative members or staff and that he hadn’t been to the Statehouse in person within the last week.

The 2021 legislative session is set to begin Jan. 4.

Prior to that, he worked for WSPY Radio in Plano, Illinois as a show host, reporter, producer and anchor. His first job in radio was in another state capitol, in Jefferson City, Missouri, as a reporter for three radio stations around Missouri. Brandon graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor of Journalism in 2010, with minors in political science and history. He was born and raised in Chicago.
