Gov. Eric Holcomb joined 24 other state governors in signing an open letter to President Biden asking him to end the federal public health emergency in April 2023. The public health emergency was first declared in 2020 after the COVID-19 pandemic hit.

The state has ordered over 37,700 doses of the new Moderna booster and 90,600 doses of the Pfizer booster, which are being shipped to providers.

Gov. Eric Holcomb has won his lawsuit against the Indiana General Assembly over an emergency powers law. That win comes from a unanimous ruling by the Indiana Supreme Court.
