Claire Bates is an itinerant folksinger and social advocate heading to Fort Wayne to take part in The Friends of the Third World's Refugee Benefit Concert this Monday, January 6th, at the downtown public library.
No stranger to communicating needs for change, Bates wants everyone to experience peace and dignity, and has spent the last six years assisting others in clariying conflicts since becoming a social worker.
Earlier this week WBOI's Julia Meek contacted Bates by phone to talk about the combined passions driving her creativity.
