Young Creative's Magazine Showcases Art Of Storytelling

Credit Bridget York
Once Weiss discovered that journalism was her forte, she was ready to put all of her creative skills together to produce "Type Write."

Claire Weiss is a high school student at Oak Farm Montessori School in Avilla with an interest in many creative mediums, all fueled by a passion for storytelling and community connection.

Last week, WBOI's Julia Meek invited Claire into the studio to talk about where she has channeled these energies, how the school has influenced the direction she has taken, and the resulting publication she founded and publishes there, written with and for her classmates.

You can find more information about this project and other student activities at the Oak Farm Montessori School website.
