Earlier today, Governor Eric Holcomb issued a statewide mask order to curb the spread of COVID-19, taking effect on Monday.
Here in Fort Wayne, a new platform championing that cause was launched on Facebook a few weeks ago by Linda Ann Shafer, Michelle Marqueling and Sarah Kleber, aptly named Mask Up Fort Wayne!
Less than 48 hours before the Governor's announcement, WBOI's Julia Meek sat down with Kleber and Marqueling to discuss the point and purpose their project and what the group hoped to accomplish.
