Face coverings are one of the most effective ways to contain the spread of COVID-19.

While there is still no state-wide mandate on masking in place, several communities now require masks in public, including in Marion, St. Joseph, LaGrange and Elkhart counties.

89.1 WBOI in Fort Wayne is about to launch a campaign called "Make Me A Mask" to encourage everyone to express their creativity and promote public health in the process.

WBOI's/Indiana Public Broadcasting's Ben Clemmer joined WBOI Programming Director Katy Anderson and Arts & Culture Reporter Julia Meek to discuss this project, it's mission, and how to get involved.
