State-run mobile vaccination clinics and COVID-19 testing sites will be impacted by the upcoming winter weather, according to state health officials Tuesday.

Allen County Health Department’s Public Health COVID-19 vaccination clinic at 5750 Falls Drive will be closed Wednesday and Thursday.

Parkview Health also announced the closure of its vaccination clinic on New Vision Drive from Wednesday through Friday.

Elsewhere in northeast Indiana, the Huntington County mobile clinic will be closed Thursday due to the weather.

On Tuesday, Allen County reported 101,099 total cases of COVID-19, an addition of 348 from Monday’s data.

The county has also recorded 1,058 deaths.

The official case numbers in Allen County and elsewhere throughout the state are beginning to decline, but those numbers do not include all of the at-home test results.

Northeast Indiana saw a total of 622 cases reported Tuesday and a dozen additional COVID deaths, according to the Indiana Department of Health.

The entire state remains in the state’s worst category for community spread of the virus. The rating is based on cases per 100,000 residents and 7-day positivity rates.

Northeast Indiana’s 7-day positivity rate is near 29 percent.
