Area Artists Aim to Wow Fort Wayne with "the BIG show"

Simon May

This weekend, Fort Wayne's first-ever show featuring work by artists with disabilities opens at Wunderkammer Company.

It's called the BIG show, and is part of the AWS Foundation's year-long celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

March happens to be Disabilities Awareness Month -- so it's a perfect time for the show's debut.

Earlier this week, WBOI's Julia Meek met with event curator, Candy Pease and Owen Sanders, a participating artist, to learn just how the BIG show intends to live up to its name.
