Tony Evans will visit Huntington University for celebration marking 125 years

Huntington University is celebrating 125 years of service. The faith-based institution is kicking off the anniversary with a presentation by best-selling author and renowned speaker Tony Evans. The pastor will visit the campus March 31st. Ahead of his visit he talked with WBOI’s Terra Brantley.

Tony Evans will speak at Huntington University Thursday, March 31st at 7:30 p.m. in Zurcher Auditorium in the Merrilat Centre for the Arts at Huntington University. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public but tickets are required for guaranteed seating.

Brantley resigned as president and CEO of WBOI in November 2022. <br/>Brantley has lived in Allen County, Indiana for almost 30 years, serving as a community servant, advocate, and trusted news anchor. In June 2021, Brantley retired from WANE TV as Indiana’s longest serving African American news anchor, to become President/CEO of the Fort Wayne Urban League, prior to becoming the President and General Manager of WBOI/Northeast Indiana Public Radio.
