A look at Papier from his USF Art Faculty days, giving a printmaking lesson back in 1977.

Maury Papier has made a broad and colorful imprint on Fort Wayne's art scene, with his distinctive paintings, as well as his legacy in art education.

This Friday evening, both are being celebrated with the opening of Artlink's Retrospective Exhibit of the artist's work.

The exhibit commemorates Artlink's first exhibition at the original Broadway location, in September 1978, which featured a solo show of Maury's work.

For a look behind the canvas, WBOI's Julia Meek met with Papier to discuss his life in the art world.
