New Judge For Allen County Superior Court

Allen County Superior Court

Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb appointed Allen County Superior Court Magistrate Jennifer DeGroote to replace retiring Allen Superior Judge Stanley Levine.

DeGroote has served in the Civil Division of the Allen Superior Court since 1999 and is 1995 graduate of Valparaiso University School of Law. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan.

She will be sworn in as judge at a later date.

Levine retires on Dec. 31 after nearly 20 years on the bench. He was first appointed in 1999, and serves as the probate judge for the Allen Superior Court’s Civil Division.

In a written statement from the Allen Superior Court, DeGroote said she intends to make the most of this rare opportunity and deliver justice fairly and impartially.
