Rob Martinez
Volunteer Producer, HostRob is a volunteer producer and host at WBOI. He has contributed and edited many segments and programs at the station, including "Meet The Music", "The Weekly Experiment", and the popular Soundscape breaks featured on the air ("You heard it here on 89.1 WBOI.").
Since 2011, Rob has produced and hosted holiday specials both in December and July. "The Nights Before Christmas" has been heard in several countries around the world and features selections from his personal Christmas music archives - one of the largest privately owned collections in the United States.
Beginning in 2014, he began producing and hosting a weekly show featuring movie music. "The Movie Music Spotlight" focuses on the career of an actor, actress, and/or filmmaker and can be heard every Thursday at 10 PM (with a Sunday encore at 7 PM).
