89.1 WBOI’s new podcast, The I In Immigrant, is hosted and created by Ahmed Abdelmageed. The podcast features interviews with residents about their experiences living as an immigrant in Northeast Indiana.
In the second episode of the series, Ahmed spoke with Najla Jarjour about her experiences as an immigrant, how Fort Wayne and the United States have changed over the past 60 years, and the difficulties that come with making friends, discrimination, and reminding her children of their culture and customs.
