Tamar Tyler has brought his superhero comic book character, HQ, to life by way of an animated series called Swaggatrons.

His fascination with comics began when he was young, Tamar admits, and has grown into a multi-media passion that has taken on a life of its own.

WBOI’s Julia Meek talks with Tyler about the process, and what to expect in the Augmented Reality “multiverse” of Swaggville.

You can connect with HQ the producer at the Swaggatrons website.

A Fort Wayne native, Julia is a radio host, graphic artist, and community volunteer, who has contributed to NIPR both on- and off-air for forty years. Besides being WBOI's arts & culture reporter, she currently co-produces and hosts Folktales and Meet the Music.
