Fort Wayne's Johnny Appleseed Festival is a staple in the area's fall activity lineup, and this weekend, it's turning forty years old.
It's a period-authentic festival that celebrates the season, as well as the life and times of John Chapman, better known as the beloved “Johnny Appleseed.”
WBOI's Julia Meek invited festival board member Bridget Kelly to the Madge Rothschild Studios to find out more about what sustains the appeal of this annual seasonal salute.
