Fort Wayne Youtheatre Toasts 80 Years With "Tin Soldier"

Credit Julia Meek / WBOI News

Eighty years ago this month, Fort Wayne Youtheatre took the stage for the first time, with a performance of "The Steadfast Tin Soldier".

This weekend, they're toasting the past with a brand new adaptation of this Hans Christian Andersen classic, written by their artist-in-residence, Harvey Cocks.

WBOI's Julia Meek met with Cocks and Youtheatre Director, Leslie Hormann, to find out more about the show and celebration.
