Fort Wayne Gallery Brings Modern Midwest Flair To Global Art Fair

Jennifer Ford sees global art fairs like Market Art Design Hamptons as the perfect outlet for Midwest artists and galleries.

The prestigious "Market Art + Design Hamptons" Art Fair began on Thursday at the Bridgehampton Museum on Long Island.

While this is out of our regular arts news coverage range, Fort Wayne's Jennifer Ford Art will be making news there, as the 1st Northern Indiana Gallery to participate in a global event of this scope.

The gallery was further honored by having its design submission, "Reversing the Wave," by Robin Kane, chosen for the Fair's special Entrance Installation. The piece, and the JFA booth, will enjoy a prominent "1st stop" position in the show.

WBOI's Julia Meek met with Ford the day before she and her crew headed east, to discuss the opportunity itself, and the impact such an event will make, right here in Indiana.

You can follow Jennifer Ford Art's "Market Art + Design Hamptons" activity on the JFA Facebook page.
