Historic Clyde Theatre Promises A Live Music Experience Like No Other

The interior amenities, according to Kinney, are guaranteed to dazzle concert goers and make the experience unforgettable.

Just over a year after funding was secured for completing the renovation of the historic Clyde Theatre on the city's south side, the work is done, which means the doors are ready to open on one of Indiana's premier arts and entertainment venues.

National, regional and local talent will find a place on the stage, and nearly every genre will be making its way onto the schedule.

To learn how this dream, shared by project spear header, Rick Kinney, and Chuck and Lisa Surack, of Sweetwater Sound, has unfolded, WBOI's Julia Meek invited Kinney into the studio to discuss the eight million dollar project's scope, the make over results, and the impact it will all have on the community.

Find information on the Grand Opening, and a listing of scheduled concerts at the Clyde Theatre website.
