This week on WBOI Presents, Issue & Ales returns to Fort Wayne with a conversation on interfaith dialogue at Welch’s Ale House.
How have faith communities shaped Fort Wayne? How can people of different faiths create dialogue? What resources are available for immigrant and refugee populations in the city today? We’ll have the answers to those questions and more on WBOI Presents.
This panel was moderated by WBOI News Director Rebecca Green. Our panelists were Irene Paxia, Executive Director of Amani Family Services, Rabbi Paula Jayne Winnig of the Congregation Achduth Vesholom, and Joseph Salem, a former Catholic high school theology teacher and a member of the steering committee of LIFT (Living Inter-Faith Together), a group planning a series of inter-religious dialogues in 2020.
