McGauley's Bird's-eye View Photography Is Pure Hoosier

As court executive for Allen Superior Court, John McGauley is able to satisfy his love of sharing details as well as is passion for photography,

It all goes back to a lifelong dedication to storytelling, he explains, as well as his love of Fort Wayne, his "adopted home town."

And becoming a certified drone operator provided a bird's-eye view of things that proved to be irresistable.

To learn how it all fits together, WBOI's Julia Meek sat down with John to discuss his point and perspective from every angle of activity, and just what the tag, "Pure Hoosier Photography," means to him.

You can connect with McGauley and see more of his work at his website.

A Fort Wayne native, Julia is a radio host, graphic artist, and community volunteer, who has contributed to NIPR both on- and off-air for forty years. Besides being WBOI's arts & culture reporter, she currently co-produces and hosts Folktales and Meet the Music.
