Margaux's Microphone: An Interview With The Series Creator

Katy Anderson

Purdue University Fort Wayne hosted two-hundred and sixty two international students from forty-nine different countries this semester.

Margaux Pintelon is an exchange student from Belgium, who happens to love audio storytelling. So, we gave her a recorder and asked her to interview other exchange students about their experiences in the U.S.

This week, you can hear their stories during Morning Edition and All Things Considered in a series called Margaux’s Microphone. To kick things off, WBOI’s Katy Anderson flipped the microphone and interviewed Margaux about her time in Fort Wayne.

Margaux recorded interviews with other exchange students while she was here for a series called Margaux’s Microphone, which you can hear this week during Morning Edition and All Things Considered on 89.1 WBOI.

We asked each student to share a song from their home country with our listeners.  Margaux picked "Papaoutai" by Belgian musician Stromae.
