Indiana Tech will host an INconversation event on March 20, focusing on the challenges facing small- to mid-size cities across Indiana.
INconversation is hosted by James and Deborah Fallows, who together wrote the book Our Towns: A 100,000-Mile Journey into the Heart of America.
The Fort Wayne event at Snyder Academic Center at Indiana Tech will be the third of four discussions taking place around the state, with others planned for Muncie, Angola and Indianapolis.
The INconversation events will center not only on the challenges facing Indiana communities, but how those communities work together to solve them. Some of these topics include how to attract and retain talent, what kind of businesses to attract and how to overcome differences to achieve goals.
BuzzFeed News’ Ashley C. Ford will also participate in the conversation. Ford is a Fort Wayne native and Ball State graduate living in Brooklyn, currently hosting BuzzFeed’s weekly interview program PROFILE.
Fort Wayne’s INconversation takes place Wednesday, March 20 from 6:30 to 8 pm. The event is free, and registration is not required, but encouraged.
