NGM: Halloween Remains Favorite Memory

New Generation Media

This fall, WBOI is partnering with the University of St. Francis and Fort Wayne Community Schools for a project called New Generation Media, or NGM.

WBOI staff and student mentors from USF are giving five high school students the tools and instruction they need to become the next generation of storytellers.

Today we’re introducing you to Nichole Henault, a senior at North Side High School. The students’ first assignment was to interview someone, outside of their generation, about a favorite holiday memory.

Nichole spoke with her grandmother about why Halloween holds a special place in her heart, and why it reminds her of community.
