Allen County’s coronavirus count is now at 129, as of Friday afternoon. Other counties in northeast Indiana have edged upward as well.

Adams County now has five individuals who have tested positive. Whitley County is now up to 10. Wells County has three, Noble County has 14 and LaGrange County has 9. Kosciusko County has 17 cases.

According to the Indiana Department of Health, there are now 6,907 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus. Three hundred Hoosiers have died. More than 35,000 Indiana residents have been tested, but testing is still not widely available or available on demand.

With the permission of the Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades of the Diocese of Fort Wayne South Bend, there will be an Easter Sunday Eucharistic procession at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Fairfield Avenue in Fort Wayne.

According to a press release, the procession will travel about two miles, and have a police escort. The public is invited to follow the procession in vehicles only, and the vehicles must remain nine feet apart. Communion will not be distributed.
