Foellinger Foundation Names New Leader

The Foellinger Foundation named its new leader Thursday after an extensive, nationwide search.

Foellinger board chair Michael Moellering announced Ed Kominowski will serve as president of the local granting institution.

Kominowski comes to Foellinger after having served as president of the Community Foundation of Morgan County, and also provided leadership for Morgan County’s $30 million Kendrick Foundation.

He will replace long-time Foellinger head Cheryl Taylor, who served at the foundation for three decades. Taylor will continue her tenure until Kominowski’s start date in August, and then continue her work on Foellinger’s board.

The Foellinger Foundation is a financial supporter of WBOI.
