More Deaths, More Positive Cases of COVID-19 In Northeast Indiana

Two more Allen County residents have died of COVID-19, according to the Allen County Health Department Friday.

Seventy-one Allen County residents have succumbed to the disease caused by the novel coronavirus. There have been 1,438 infected.

No additional deaths were reported throughout northeast Indiana, though the numbers of reported cases continue to go up. Noble County has the highest infection rate in the region, with 44 residents infected per 10,000 residents.

Statewide, there are a total of 33,558 positive cases and 1,946 Hoosiers have died.
